GEMA – Global Expat Medical Association

GEMA – Global Expat Medical Association is a professional, non-regulatory body for clinicians serving internationally mobile patients. Based in the UK, GEMA aligns with national medical regulators and Royal Colleges and recognises equivalent associations abroad to set practical cross-border standards in telemedicine, referrals, data protection, consent, and indemnity. Membership spans students to senior clinicians, verified on a public register, with CPD and clinic accreditation for expat care. Chapters in Europe, Americas, MENA, and Asia-Pacific. Status: under incorporation, a Global Expat initiative.
